The Tale of the Black Knight

Whilst travelling down Hill Road, Sir Conn and his party happen to chance upon Sir Corbe and his squire. They stop and talk a while, exchanging information about the road ahead and behind. Sir Corbe gives Sir Conn useful information, warning him of brigands on the road ahead.

As fate would have it, Sir Conn soon came upon the Black Knight, who guards a bridge and vows that none shall pass. As Aubery accepts the challenge of the Black Knight, two brigand come out of the bushes and attack. Fortunately, His Grace had warning and was prepared, and fighting back to back with his squire, I have the honor to relate that they dispatched all three foes with haste and skill. They crossed the bridge.
