The Tale of the Heraldic Trap

Along the Lake of the Cooper, Duke Conn's band happened upon a strange man standing in front of a pavilion. Now, this was no ordinary pavilion, as not one device hung upon the outside, but six! The Herald explained that his lady was ensorcelled, and she may not leave her pavilion until the six shields hung around her pavilion can be blazoned properly.

And thus ensued an education for Squire Aubery by Sir Conn, as this monk had the privilege of witnessing. All six shields were blazoned, and the beauteous lady was freed from her spell. Upon giving thanks, she suggested that there was another Lady who needed help, who might in turn help them cure the Gypsy's curse.

After receiving the information and the Lady's thanks, they followed the Lady's directions.

And the Quest continued…
