The Tale of Lady Seraphina and Sir Wrath

Duke Conn and his entourage left the Chess Master and made their way back to the road to continue their quest, passing another questing Knight. This tall and strong knight was having words with his squire, and this did not escape the attention of one Lady Seraphina, a gentle woman of His Grace Conn's household who was accompanying the quest. As those who serve their Knights reflect on the character of said Knight, Lady Seraphina indeed reflected that day the wisdom and courage that Duke Conn possesses.

Lady Seraphina noted with distaste that the Knight they were passing was reviling and debasing his squire mercilessly, berating him for past and present weakness, and accusing him of being worthless in his eyes. In order not to slow down her Knight's quest, she took it upon herself to talk to the wrathful Knight, informing him that such behavior and crude language was inappropriate for one dedicated to honor and chivalry, and trusting that the misguided Knight would see the error of his ways after hearing her gentle words. And so it was, with the wrathful Knight so grateful for her observant words and good recommendations, he informed her of the exact location of the Red Knight at One Drunk Bridge.

Conn was very impressed with Lady Seraphina, and complimented her on her wisdom and tact. At once they decided to seek out the Red Knight, with Lady Seraphina leading the way.

And the Quest continued…
