Pythagoras is about 9 months old (in this picture, as of Feb 98), and is much larger than he looks. Right now he is saying that we never feed him or pet him, and we keep him locked away all the time. He loves to play, especially behind door openings and the bars on our dining room chairs. He also walks anywhere he pleases, getting into trouble as most cats do. Usually he doesn't like to snuggle, preferring to sit on the sofa next to us or on his (it used to be ours) beanbag. The exception occurs around 3:30 AM, where he will jump on us and demand to be petted and loved. Figures... Pythagoras is named after that famous Greek mathematician, even though he looks nothing like him. |
Arbeau (not Arbo, Rbow, or Our bow is all a quiver, though he is), is only 6 pounds (half of Pythag) and is a year and a half old now. He also feels we never feed him or love him, and usually says as much, which is why he looks upset because the pictures shows that he has food. Of course, he claims the food has been there for months left by the previous tenants who really do love their cats. Arbeau is definitely a snuggle kitty, and will drape himself on you at any time of the day. His only problem is that he doesn't realize how sharp his back claws are, and he likes to use them when he walks around (ouch!). He loves to chase after the laser pointer light, and can't figure out that it is just a light and not an object. Silly cat... Arbeau
is named after a medieval dance master. As far as I know, he
might just look like him. |
