Afterwards
After the ceremony, much merriment ensued, and good drink was shared.

Duke Eliahu and Maestra Arianna's
household,
Griffone d'Oro, in attendance this day.

(Middle row, from left: Lady Kirsten, Lady Alina, Lady Anna, Lady Ariel, Mistress
Claire, and Lord Renaude)
(Bottom row, from left: Maestra Arianna, Duke Sir Eliahu, Young Ian, and Lady
Sigrid)
After the picture, we all broke into song...
Midair: Are you ready,
good gentles?
All: Aye aye, Midair!
Midair: I can't hear you!
All: Aye aye, Midair!!
Midair: Ohhh, who has long grey hair and fights with a sword?
All: DUKE SIR ELI!
Midair: Short and quick and very very old?
All: DUKE SIR ELI!
Midair: If terrible jokes to your life adds spice...
All: DUKE SIR ELI!
Midair: Then look to the Knight with the Gryphon device!
All: DUKE SIR ELI!
Midair: Ready?
All: DUKE SIR ELI! DUKE SIR ELI! DUKE SIR ELI! DUKE SIR ... ELI!
Midair: Ha ha!!!
And finally, to help the coffers
of the Kingdom,
pious monks appeard with relics,
taken directly from His Grace's body,
and sold them to all those who made the pilgrimage to see the ceremony.

Pictured above are an actual tooth and piece of bone from His Grace.
And this ends the story
of the celebration
of the twentieth anniversary
of the Knighting of
Duke Sir Eliahu.
